Mentorship Program Code of Conduct
Thank you for considering our mentorship program! This is a premium learning experience that pairs you with a dedicated professional developer to accelerate your coding journey.
We believe mentorship works best when it's a true partnership built on mutual respect, commitment, and shared goals.
Your mentor will review this code of conduct and answer any questions you may have in your first session. Enrolling in a mentorship plan represents your acceptance of this policy.

What We Expect from You
Your mentorship is an investment in your professional development. We expect you to actively participate in sessions, come prepared with questions, and maintain regular communication with your mentor. When you schedule a session, please show up on time and give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel.
Professional growth requires honest feedback and guidance. Your mentor is here to help you become a better developer, which means they will challenge you, point out areas for improvement, and suggest specific approaches to problems. We expect you to take this guidance seriously and implement the recommendations they provide.
If you consistently ignore or dismiss your mentor's advice, you're not getting the value from this program and may not be a good fit for continued participation.

Communication Standards
All interactions with mentors and other participants must be respectful and professional. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or abusive language of any kind. This includes inappropriate comments about race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristics.
Keep all discussions focused on coding, professional development, and program-related topics. Sharing explicit, offensive, or completely unrelated content is not acceptable and will result in immediate removal from the program.

Using AI Tools Appropriately
We welcome the use of AI tools as part of your learning process once you complete the fundamentals. These tools can help you understand concepts, debug code, and improve your productivity. However, the purpose of mentorship is for you to develop your own coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
You must still do the actual work and demonstrate that you understand what you're creating. Using AI to complete projects without learning defeats the entire purpose of having a mentor (and learning to code). When you use AI tools in your work, please let your mentor know so they can better understand your process and provide appropriate guidance.

Program Integrity and Access
Your mentorship subscription is for your individual use only. Do not share login credentials, access, or course materials with others. This includes not distributing any proprietary content, code examples, or recordings from your sessions outside the program.
Be honest about your current skill level and learning goals. Your mentor needs accurate information to provide the most effective guidance. Misrepresenting your abilities or experience makes it harder for them to help you succeed.

Participation Requirements
This program requires active engagement to be effective. You must maintain regular contact with your mentor and participate meaningfully in scheduled sessions. Repeated no-shows or lack of engagement will result in program termination.
We understand that life happens, but consistent participation is essential for making progress. If you're going through a period where you cannot commit the necessary time, please discuss this with your mentor and our administration team.

Confidentiality and Privacy
Respect the privacy and intellectual property of other participants. Do not share code, project details, or personal information from other learners you may encounter in group sessions or community discussions.
Any proprietary code or sensitive information shared during mentorship sessions should be kept confidential unless explicitly told otherwise. These protections also apply to you. Your information, progress, interactions will remain private between you, your mentor, and our administration team unless explicit permission is given.

Prohibited Activities
Several behaviors will result in immediate termination from the program. These include attempting to hire your mentor for work outside the program, trying to circumvent payment systems, sharing accounts with others, or engaging in any form of harassment or discrimination.
Using the platform to spam, troll, or distribute inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. This is a professional learning environment, and all behavior should reflect that standard.
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about your mentor, the program, or another participant, please contact our administration team immediately. We will review all issues thoroughly and work to resolve them fairly.
All disputes and concerns are handled exclusively by our admin team. Their decisions regarding any conflicts, policy violations, or program issues are final and binding. We do not provide appeals processes for administrative decisions.
Consequences and Termination
We follow a progressive discipline approach for most policy violations. This typically includes a warning, followed by a final warning, and then termination from the program. However, certain severe violations such as harassment, discrimination, or attempting to damage the program will result in immediate termination.
When someone is terminated from the program, they lose access to all mentorship services, course materials, and community features. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy but are not guaranteed for policy violations.
Age Requirements
The mentorship program is for adults only, so you must be at least 18 years old to sign up.
Your Success is Our Goal
This code of conduct exists to create the best possible learning environment for everyone in the program. When all participants follow these guidelines, mentors can focus on what they do best: helping you become a skilled, professional developer.
We're excited to work with you and look forward to seeing the progress you'll make with your mentor's guidance. If you have any questions about these policies, please contact our administration team before your first session.
Welcome to the program, and happy coding!
