AI Isn't Replacing Developers. It's Raising the Bar.

You've seen the headlines. AI can write code now. So, why bother learning?

There's a lot of hype around AI right now. You'll see one post claiming that "developers are cooked", and another saying that AI tools write awful code. The truth is found between these extremes.

The Truth About AI

AI is a tool, not a software architect. It can generate code, and if well-prompted, can generate pretty good code.

But it can't architect a system, take in the full context of the project, debug what it doesn't understand, or decide what to build in the first place.

The Two Types of Developers

The developers who thrive with AI are the ones with solid fundamental skills who can make a plan, use AI tools where they add value, and avoid them where they don't.

The developers who are in trouble are the ones who skipped the fundamentals and can only "copy, paste, and flail" because they don't understand how things work under the hood.

What Hiring Managers are Saying

The hiring managers in our network are loudly complaining about a flood of applicants who can't design, plan, execute, and debug software.

Using AI effectively as a tool is respected.

Using AI as a crutch means you're unemployable.

Skill Foundry teaches you the skills that make AI useful, not the other way around.

Frequently asked questions

What’s included in the membership?

Everything. You get full access to our entire course library, exercises, projects, and our private Discord community. There’s no gated content, just the good stuff, all at once.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! There are no contracts or weird terms. Cancel anytime on your account page. If you ever want to come back, we’ll still be here.

What if I’m a total beginner?

Perfect. Most of our students start with zero experience. Our beginner courses are designed to guide you step-by-step. And if you get stuck, the community is here to help.

Is the monthly plan enough to get a job in tech?

It can be if you show up consistently and work through the material. We teach job-ready skills and real tools, and we give you portfolio-worthy projects. There's more to getting a job, though. Your interview skills, location-based opportunities, etc. We'll get you ready for the technical side of the job, and offer all the assistance we can as a community for the rest.

Do I get support with this plan?

Yes! You’ll get access to our supportive Discord community where you can ask questions, share wins, and connect with other learners, Skill Foundry team members, and mentors.

How is this different from free tutorials or cheap course sites?

We go beyond surface-level content. Our courses are deeper, project-based, and built by people who’ve done the work in the real world. We care about outcomes, not just views.

Will I lose access to my progress if I cancel?

If you cancel, you’ll still keep your learner profile, but you won’t be able to access course content unless you resubscribe.
